Loyd Godbold joined Fairmont Specialty in September 2003 as Vice President of Claims. Loyd has over 29 years of experience in insurance, 27 with Kemper Insurance Companies and two years with Employers Casualty/Texas Employers Insurance Association. Mr. Godbold served in a variety of technical and management roles at both the field and home office levels, including Home Office Consultant and Branch Claim Executive. He also held various home office and division management positions that included the responsibility both administratively and technically of 23 field claim offices. He has a BS degree in History and Sociology from Stephen F. Austin University in Texas.
